A seat of learning that can cradle a bud into a full bloom flower was in the inner most desire of many parents.
It was a very beautiful morning of 2005AD. A school was set up in a rented kutcha house in this township of Barobisha. The school was named Open Truth English Medium School. Open Truth English Medium School is the maiden school in this valley as well as in the district of Alipurduar. The institute provides her young generation the light of education scholastic and moralistic. Since her foundation in 2005, the school has been trying her best to fulfill her duty of providing education mostly to the far learners coming largely from rural background minorities. The school is situated in border area, the Indo-Bhutan International Border being barely 15 kilometers away aerially from the school. Mostly hailing from agrarian families. The students come to this school with a lot of expectation but little idea about their future course of life. The school undertakes the responsibility to guide them to a bright future and thereby plays a messianic role in the socio-economic development of the whole area.
At present the school is an ideal learning seat in this blessed valley. Many excellent professionals care each aspirant with smile on their faces. They all serve with humility and dignity with a spirit of selfless service. They are the architects of this school. Their academic accomplishment glorifies OTEMS.
Sir Kamal Sarki, the administrator of OTEMS, who took the charge of the school in 2010, did not leave any stone untried. He wanted to give her recognition. He ran from east to west and north to south. One morning a team of learned persons from Central Board of Secondary Education visited her and examined too. They accepted her and gave her recognition.
